This Air Fryer fried ravioli is a seriously delicious appetizer that’s perfect for entertaining! Team it up with some classic marinara sauce or my homemade cheese sauce and you’ve got yourself an addictive snack that everyone will devour!
Best of all- it takes just a couple of packs of ravioli, some pantry staple and under 15 minutes to put it together.
Italian breadcrumbs: Use coarse, seasoned breadcrumbs. You can also just use regular breadcrumbs and mix them with some Italian seasoning mix or my poultry seasoning mix.
Frozen ravioli: Pre-filled pasta pockets for frying. I used cheese ravioli here since it’s always a winner, but you can try using other kinds too.
Parmesan cheese: Shredded, aged cheese for that savory, cheesy coating.
Eggs: Large, whisked eggs, to coat the ravioli and help the breading stick to it.
All purpose flour: To coat the ravioli.
Seasonings: I used a mix of garlic powder, dried basil and some ground black pepper. You can also add red pepper flakes if you want.
Olive oil spray: Light, heart-healthy oil spray to help the ravioli crisp up. You can also use avocado oil spray or cooking spray.
See recipe card for quantities.
Variations
For extra crunch and a bit of texture, you can use Panko breadcrumbs instead of regular ones- I used them to make my Air Fryer popcorn chicken and they turned out SO yum!
You can also season the breadcrumb mixture with some homemade ranch seasoning for extra deliciousness.
