Viral test of the eggs that are missing and few solve

“I have 6 eggs. I broke 2, fried 2, and ate 2. How many eggs are left? 99% of people are wrong.”

Most people do a direct count:
6 – 2 (broken) – 2 (fried) – 2 (eaten) = 0 eggs.
But this is an error of interpretation.

The key is to understand that actions do not necessarily apply to different eggs. I mean:

2 eggs broke.
Those same 2 eggs were fried.
And then, those same 2 eggs were eaten.
So, in total, only 2 eggs were used for the whole process. The other 4 remain intact.

The correct answer is: there are 4 eggs left.
