Slow Cooker Tomato Parmesan Soup

Servings: 6-8

Cook Time: 4-6 hours (slow cooker)

Ingredients:
2 (28-oz) cans crushed tomatoes

1 medium onion, finely chopped

3-4 garlic cloves, minced

4 cups vegetable or chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried basil

1 tsp sugar (balances acidity)

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Fresh basil, for garnish (optional)
