Potato Rolls with Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:
For the Potato Rolls Dough:

1 cup mashed potatoes (cooled)

3 ½ cups all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)

1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast

¼ cup warm milk

¼ cup sugar

1 tsp salt

¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)

1 egg

½ cup warm water (as needed)

For the Chicken Filling:

2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or finely chopped)

1 small onion (finely diced)

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 tbsp oil

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp dried thyme

2 tbsp mayonnaise or sour cream (optional)

¼ cup chopped parsley or cilantro

For Egg Wash (Optional):

1 egg (beaten with 1 tbsp milk)
