Add onion and peppers, sauté until soft.
Add ground beef (or sliced steak) and cook until browned.

Remove from heat.
2. Build the Casserole
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
Grease a baking dish.
Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in the dish.

3. Make the Custard
In a bowl, whisk together:
Eggs
Heavy cream
Pour this mixture evenly over the casserole.
4. Add Cheese & Bake
Top with the remaining cheese.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden, bubbly, and set in the middle.
5. Serve
Garnish with chopped parsley.
Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
