1/3 cup honey
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley or thyme
Instructions
Wash and pat dry the chicken pieces.
Season the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Prepare three bowls: flour, egg mixed with milk, and cornstarch.
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
How to Make
Coat chicken first in flour, then dip into egg mixture, then coat with cornstarch.
Fry chicken in hot oil until golden brown and fully cooked.
Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
In a pan, melt butter over low heat.
Add garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant.
Stir in honey, soy sauce, chili flakes, and herbs.
Add crispy chicken to the sauce and toss gently to coat evenly.
Serve hot and glossy.
Variations
Use chicken wings instead of thighs for party bites.
Bake or air-fry the chicken for a lighter version.
Add mustard or lemon juice to the sauce for tanginess.
Make it spicy with hot sauce or extra chili flakes.
