Immerse your glass jars in boiling water for a few minutes to sterilize them.
Let them air-dry completely.
4. Filling the Jars
Pour the hot tomato purée into the sterilized jars.
Add a few basil leaves if desired.
5. Sealing the Jars
Seal the jars tightly, then immerse them in a pot of boiling water for about 30 minutes to create a vacuum seal.
Let them cool completely before storing in a cool, dry, and dark place.
