If using fresh chicken, boil until fully cooked, then cool and shred. You’ll need about 2-3 chicken breasts for 3 cups of shredded meat.
Step 2: Mix the Base
In a large bowl, combine:
Shredded chicken
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
¼ cup crumbled bacon
1½ cups sour cream
1 packet of ranch seasoning
Stir until everything is evenly mixed.
Step 3: Add Cheese
Add about half a standard-sized bag of shredded cheese (roughly 1 cup). Mix it into the chicken base.
Step 4: Prep the Biscuits
Take the 12 oz can of junior biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters. This allows them to cook through evenly and puff up nicely.
Step 5: Combine Biscuits and Filling
Gently fold the biscuit quarters into the mixture, making sure they’re evenly coated but not smashed.
Step 6: Assemble and Bake
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
