Beet–Lime Heart-Healthy Juice

Description
This vibrant beet–lime juice combines the natural nitrates from beets with the tanginess of fresh lime. The drink supports healthy blood flow, may assist normal blood-pressure function, and provides essential vitamins and antioxidants.

Ingredients (Serves 1–2)

1 medium beet, peeled and chopped

1–2 limes, juiced

1 small apple or carrot (optional, for sweetness)

1 cup cold water or coconut water

Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions
Add beet, lime juice, and optional apple/carrot to a blender.

Pour in the water or coconut water.

Blend until smooth.

Strain through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a thinner juice.

Serve chilled over ice.
