6 slices of bread slices, cut into bite-sized cubes
3 large eggs-acts as a binder, and will help create the coating for the bites.
1/4 cup milk- balances out the thickness of the eggs, and will add creaminess to the mixture.
1 tsp vanilla extract-adds a sweet flavor to the French toast
1 tsp ground cinnamon-brings warmth and completes the classic French toast flavor with the vanilla and brown sugar combination.

TIPS
Don’t overcrowd the basket: Work in batches if you are feeding a crowd. If pieces of the bread overlap, the covered bits won’t cook properly.
Use day-old bread: Slightly stale bread works best because it absorbs the egg mixture without getting too soggy.
Add flavors: Add a pinch of nutmeg, apple pie spice, or pumpkin spice for a seasonal twist to change up the taste.
