Time-Saving. Making baked oatmeal in an air fryer will save you time in the morning. No need to preheat an oven and the cooking time is significantly shorter.
Ingredients
1 cup of rolled oats. I used organic rolled oats with ancient grains and seeds (from Trader Joe’s)
½ cup apple sauce. I used unsweetened.
1 Tablespoon of sugar (or sweetener of choice) I used Golden Monk fruit for a keto-friendly sweetener.
1 large egg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Optional Mix-ins: berries, nuts, chocolate chips, etc.
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients. No need to mix dry and wet ingredients separately. Just mix until well combined. Add any mix-ins at this point, if desired. I added half a cup of fresh blueberries.
Pour the mixture into a greased air fryer-friendly pan. I used a 9-inch pan, lined with parchment paper.
